Robotic stores have opened in the Netherlands

One of the largest Chinese e-commerce platforms JD.com I have opened two fully robotic stores in the Netherlands. In Ochama stores, robots collect orders and give them to customers or offer to arrange delivery.

Store JD.com they work as a pick-up point for orders placed in the Ochame application. To receive an order, the buyer needs to scan the barcode from the application using the terminal.

Ochama sells food, household appliances, cosmetics, goods for mother and child, as well as clothing and household goods. All actions are performed using automatically controlled vehicles and robotic manipulators that pick up, sort and deliver goods to the delivery counter, and then transfer them to customers.

In addition to already open stores, in the near future JD.com plans to open two more stores in Amsterdam and Utrecht.
